INTERNAL REGULATIONS

To confirm your Reservation, you only need to pay in dollars or Sol by credit card or by transfer 50% of the reservation of the Flexible rate or 100% of the Non-Refundable rate.

Check IN: from 2:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Check OUT: 11:00 a.m.

Please note that out of respect for our guests seeking peace and quiet, check-in ends at 8:30 p.m., which is also the deadline for any orders to be placed in the kitchen.

We recommend arriving during the day to enjoy the exceptional scenery that surrounds us. For any early morning arrival, you can benefit from an Early Check IN for a low fixed price per room of $40.00.

If you require an invoice, you must request it at the time of Check IN, otherwise an ELECTRONIC BOLETA will be issued automatically and by hotel policy, we cannot cancel it.

We allow 1 child under 4 years old free of charge per room, if sharing the parents' bed.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT PETS (NO PET FRIENDLY).

It is forbidden to arrive at the hotel with food, for this we provide you with a "Chef" and you can neither eat nor drink in the rooms.

We charge a corkage fee on any bottle you bring (S/. 40.00 on wine, S/. 10.00 on beer and S/. 100.00 on spirits).

We have ample free parking, but we are not responsible for any damage in the event of an accident. Items left in the hotel's rooms or common areas will be kept by the administration for 30 days. After this period, and without complaint, they will be discarded.

We provide campfires, fireplaces, and stoves that generate high temperatures that can cause serious injuries or burns. We are not responsible for any accidents that may occur; all customers must supervise their children or any vulnerable person at all times. Similarly, we cannot be held responsible for insect bites, violent reactions from animals, or falls, especially if you use the Bike Park or quads.

Any loss or misuse of hotel property will be charged at the replacement price. Any stains of wine, blood, cosmetics, or shoe polish on towels, sheets, or mattresses will be charged at full rate or as a special wash, as appropriate.

Smoking is prohibited in the rooms and inside the lodge under penalty of eviction and payment of a fine of S/. 150.00.

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. Reservation

The customer is solely responsible for the selection of services and their suitability for their needs, so we cannot be held liable in this regard. The reservation is deemed accepted by the customer at the end of the reservation process.

2. Pre-booking process

The customer attests to the truthfulness and accuracy of the information provided. The pre-reservation procedure includes consulting and accepting the general terms and conditions of sale for the reserved rate before confirming the reservation.

3. Acknowledgment of receipt of pre-reservation

Our booking platform acknowledges receipt of the customer's pre-reservation by promptly sending an email summarizing the contract offer, the services reserved, the prices, the sales conditions relating to the selected rate, accepted by the customer, the date of the reservation made, information relating to after-sales service, as well as the address of the establishment.

4. Confirmation of reservation

At the same time, the customer will receive an email with the different payment options available. The reservation will be confirmed only after payment of 50% of the reservation amount for the Flexible rate and 100% for the Non-refundable rate by credit card, bank transfer or Yape and presentation of the corresponding Voucher.

5. Cancellation or modification by the customer

The conditions of sale for the reserved rate specify the terms of cancellation and/or modification of the reservation.

Non-Refundable Rate: Reservations benefiting from the Non-Refundable Rate cannot be modified and/or cancelled. Any amounts paid in advance, such as deposits, will not be refunded.

Flexible RATE:

- Cancellation of any reservation up to 14 days before check-in withoutno penalty.

- From 14 to 3 days before the day of Check-IN, any cancellation will be subject to a penalty of 50% of the total reservation.

You can reschedule the same reservation within the next 12 months outside of holiday periods with a penalty of 20% of the reservation amount (subject to availability). Depending on the period, there may be an upward price adjustment in the event of room rates changing. In the event of a rescheduling, lower than the original, no monetary refund will be accepted.

- Any cancellation less than 4 days before check-in will be subject to a penalty of 100% of the total reservation. Exception: If you notify us sufficiently in advance and we can reserve your room, you will be able to benefit from the same cancellation conditions as above.

- If you do not show up on the day of Check IN before 8:30 p.m. (Check-IN deadline), your reservation will be changed to NO SHOW and you will lose your entire reservation with a 100% penalty to pay.

- For any cancellation after check-in, no refund will be accepted.

EXCEPTIONS:

In the event of a road blockage between your accommodation and the hotel due to a strike or mudslide, Copacabaña Lodge allows a date change without any penalty within the next 12 months excluding public holidays.

6. Consumption of the service

In accordance with current regulations, the customer and those accompanying them will be asked to present proof of identity upon arrival.

Any behavior contrary to good morals and public order will result in the establishment asking the customer to leave the establishment without any compensation and/or without any refund. The customer accepts and agrees to respect the Internal Regulations.

7. Liability

The establishment cannot be held responsible for the non-execution or poor execution of the reservation in the event of force majeure, due to a third party, due to the customer, in particular the unavailability of the electricity network, internet, impossibility of accessing the website, etc.

8. Price

Prices for booking services are quoted in US dollars before and during the booking process. However, any payment at the establishment by credit card will only be made in the local currency of Peru. If the debit at the establishment is made in a currency other than dollars, the exchange rate fees are the responsibility of the customer.

9. Force majeure

Force majeure means any event external to the parties that is both unforeseeable and insurmountable and prevents either the client or the establishment from fulfilling all or part of the obligations set out in the contract. Force majeure or fortuitous events are considered to be those usually recognized by the jurisprudence of the Peruvian Courts and Tribunals (strike, mudslide, pandemic, etc.). Neither party may be held liable to the other party in the event of non-performance of its obligations resulting from a force majeure event and each party shall bear the cost of the resulting costs.

10. Dispute Resolution

These General Conditions of Sale are governed by the law of Peru.

In the event of a dispute between Discovery Peru and the client, the parties will attempt to resolve the matter amicably. In the event of disagreement, everything previously specified will be applied in accordance with the Peruvian Civil Code. The parties will submit to the jurisdiction of the judges and the Civil Court of the city of Huaraz.
