INTERNAL RULES
Summary to confirm your Reservation:
Check IN: from 2:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Check OUT: 11:00 a.m.
To confirm your Reservation, simply pay a Deposit of 50% of the Flexible Rate or 100% of the Promotional Rate.
You can pay in Dollars or Soles via YAPE, Bank Transfer or Niubiz Secure Link (VISA).

For any early morning arrival, you can benefit from an Early Check IN for a fixed price of S/. 150.00 per room. Similarly, for any Late Check IN (after 8:30 p.m.), the guest will have to pay a supplement per room corresponding to the cost of the Early Check IN. Please note that the kitchen closes at 8:30 pm (Deadline for taking orders), and that from Huaraz you will need 1 hour of driving to reach the Lodge. The last 10 kilometers are not paved, it is a dirt road in general good condition. We recommend arriving during the day to enjoy the exceptional landscape that surrounds us. Check OUT is at 11:00 am.
If you want an invoice, you must request it at the time of Check IN, otherwise an ELECTRONIC BOLETA will be issued and by hotel policy, we cannot cancel it.
We allow 1 child under 4 years old free of charge per room, if sharing the parents' bed.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT DOMESTIC ANIMALS (NO PET FRIENDLY).
It is forbidden to arrive at the hotel with food, for this we provide you with a "Chef" and you cannot eat or drink in the rooms.
We charge a corkage fee on any bottle you bring (S/. 40.00 on wine, S/. 10.00 on beer and S/. 100.00 on spirits).
We have a large free car park but we are not responsible for any damage in case of accident. Objects forgotten in the rooms or common areas of the hotel will be kept by the administration for 30 days, after this period and without complaint, they will be thrown away.
We provide campfires, fireplaces, stoves generating high temperatures that can cause serious injuries. We are not responsible for any accidents that may occur, all customers must supervise their children or any vulnerable person at all times... In the same way, we cannot be held responsible in the event of insect bites, violent reactions from animals or in the event of a fall, especially if you use the Bike Park or the quads.
Any disappearance or misuse of hotel property will be charged at the reposition price that management estimates. Any stain of wine, blood, beauty product, shoe polish on towels, sheets or mattresses will be charged at full rate or as a special wash depending on the case...
Smoking is prohibited in the rooms and inside the lodge under penalty of eviction and payment of a fine of S/. 150.00.
GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. Purpose
These general conditions define the rights and obligations of the parties.
2. Reservation
The customer chooses the services presented on our booking platform. He acknowledges having read the nature, destination and booking terms of the available services and having requested and obtained the information necessary to make his booking with full knowledge of the facts. The customer is solely responsible for his choice of services and their suitability for his needs, such that our liability cannot be sought in this regard. The booking is deemed accepted by the customer at the end of the booking process.
3. Pre-booking process
After the final choice of the services to be booked, the customer agrees to complete the requested information. The customer attests to the truthfulness and accuracy of the information provided. The pre-booking procedure includes the consultation and acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale and the terms and conditions of sale of the reserved rate before the validation of the reservation and, finally, the validation of the pre-booking by the customer.
4. Acknowledgement of receipt of pre-reservation
Our booking platform acknowledges receipt of the customer's pre-booking by sending an email without delay summarizing the contract offer, the services booked, the prices, the sales conditions relating to the selected rate, accepted by the customer, the date of the booking made, information relating to after-sales service, as well as the address of the seller's establishment to which the customer can submit their complaints.
5. Confirmation of the reservation
At the same time, the customer will receive an email with the different payment options available. The reservation will be confirmed only after payment of 50% of the reservation amount if you benefit from the flexible rate or 100% if you benefit from a promotion or the Non-Refundable rate via bank transfer, Yape or payment by Link Niubiz (VISA) and presentation of the corresponding Voucher.
6. Cancellation or modification by the customer
The conditions of sale of the reserved rate specify the terms of cancellation and/or modification of the reservation.
Non-Refundable RATE:
- Reservations benefiting from the non-refundable rate cannot be subject to any modification and/or cancellation. The amounts paid in advance, which are the deposits, will not be subject to any refund.
FLEXIBLE RATE:
- Cancellation of any reservation up to15 days before check-in without any penalty.
- From 14 to 4 days before the day of Check-IN, any cancellation will be subject to a penalty of 50% of the total reservation. You can reschedule the date of the same reservation over the next 12 months outside of public holidays with a penalty of only 20% (subject to hotel availability). Depending on the period, there may be an upward price adjustment in the event of a change in room prices. In the event of a rescheduling, lower than the original, no monetary refund will be allowed.
- Less than 4 days before Check-IN, any cancellation will be subject to a penalty of 100% of the total reservation. Exception: If you notify us sufficiently in advance and we can reserve your room, you will be able to benefit from the same cancellation conditions as above.
- If you do not show up on the day of Check IN before 8:30 p.m. (Check-IN deadline), your reservation will be changed to NO SHOW and you will lose your entire reservation with a 100% penalty to pay.
- For any cancellation after check-in, no refund will be accepted.
EXCEPTIONS:
In case of road blockage between your place of residence and the hotel due to strike or mudslide, Copacabaña Lodge allows a change of date without any penalty within the next 12 months outside of public holidays.
7. Consumption of the service
In accordance with current regulations, the customer and those accompanying them will be asked to present proof of identity upon arrival.
Any behavior contrary to good morals and public order will lead the establishment to ask the customer to leave the establishment without any compensation and/or without any reimbursement. The customer accepts and agrees to respect the Internal Regulations.
8. Liability
The establishment cannot be held responsible for the non-execution or poor execution of the reservation in the event of force majeure, due to a third party, due to the customer, in particular the unavailability of the internet network, impossibility of accessing the website, computer viruses, etc.
9. Prices
The prices related to the reservation of services are indicated in US dollars before and at the time of booking. However, any payment in the establishment by credit card will be made only in the local currency of Peru. If the debit at the establishment is made in another currency, the exchange fees are the responsibility of the client.
10. Force majeure
Force majeure means any event external to the parties that is both unforeseeable and insurmountable and prevents either the customer or the establishment from fulfilling all or part of the obligations set out in the contract. The following are considered cases of force majeure or fortuitous events: those usually recognized by the jurisprudence of the Peruvian Courts and Tribunals (strike, mudslide, pandemic, etc.). Each party may not be held liable to the other party in the event of non-performance of its obligations resulting from an event of force majeure and each party shall bear the cost of the resulting costs.
11. Dispute Resolution
These General Conditions of Sale are governed by the law of the country of establishment.
In case of dispute between Discovery Peru and the client, the different parties will try to resolve the difference amicably. In case of disagreement, everything specified above will be applied to the standards of the Peruvian Civil Code. The parties will submit to the jurisdiction of the judges and the Civil Court of the city of Huaraz.
