The History of Copacabaña Lodge

Copacabaña Lodge (Hotel ***) is born from a Franco-Peruvian fusion between Délicia and Bruno. The architecture symbolizes the flight of a CONDOR; the construction on 2 levels and the wooden balconies are typical of the Andes and the tower and its ramparts recall the medieval castles of France. In addition, we were inspired by the logo of the Andean cosmovision: the chacana which has its origins in the pre-Columbian Chavin civilization.

Bruno designed the project, the plans and built it stone by stone, brick by brick while Délicia took care of the gardens, the finishing touches and the interior decoration…

Our accommodation, built with local or high-tech materials to combat heat loss during the night, is designed for your well-being. Each accommodation is equipped with hotel mattresses, private bathrooms with spacious showers, offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and gardens. Copacabaña Lodge and its Ecological Commitment

Copacabaña is an Eco-lodge that tries to minimize its environmental impact by doing our bit against climate change.

We have installed dual combustion fireplaces and stoves that burn 99.9% of the particles normally released into the atmosphere. Every year, we plant hundreds of trees. We recycle wastewater to irrigate the gardens. Hot water comes from solar water heaters. Kitchen scraps are used to feed the animals or to make compost for the organic vegetable garden that provides us with vegetables all year round.

We do not sell water in plastic bottles so as not to pollute, but we invite you to fill your bottles with water from the Copa glacier at an altitude of 6,188 meters.
